Nicola Jones-Crossley- Women in STEM

Nicola Jones-Crossley is passionate about building community and advancing gender equity. She is the Executive Director for Women in Tech World, a nonprofit research-based organization dedicated to creating systemic change for women in tech. To realize that goal, Women in Tech World works with partner organizations to provide actionable steps to advance gender equity across tech ecosystems, using a community-first, data-driven approach.

Prior to her work in Canada, Nicola was the Founding Director of a community organization in Bangkok, Thailand that focused on promoting gender equality and celebrating women’s leadership. She worked extensively across Southeast Asia facilitating leadership development initiatives, implementing education curriculum and collaborating with organizational partners to create social change.
